Marggie Banker Elected GLA President

Dear Lake Neighbors,

I’m pleased to announce that Marggie Banker was elected President of Gilmore Lake Association at the Board meeting on Saturday, October 24th. While Marggie is relatively new to the Board, she is a lifelong Gilmore Lake neighbor and a year-round resident.  I’m confident she will make an excellent president.

My plan is to continue on the board as the chair of our Lake Management Committee (formerly the EWM Committee).  In that role, I will be managing our relations with the WDNR and implementing our lake management strategy. As you know, there will be plenty to keep me busy in that role.

It has been a great privilege to lead GLA for the past 11 years. I want to thank our current and past board members as well as all the volunteers on the lake who have made my job easier and more enjoyable. Most of all, thank you for your support and confidence in me. I’m grateful for all of you and consider you friends.
